Every Sunday all through the year the "Grupo Montañero de Mogán" arranges walks in the magnificent mountains and beautiful valleys of Gran Canaria.  The walks are guided, and the members come from all the island, the Spanish mainland and all over Europe.

                If you want to take part, you should be well prepared and wear footwear with proper soles, a stick is useful, a back-pack with a picnic and sufficient water and a windbreaker.   The walks normally take 5 to 7 hours.  On our way we have our picnic on beautiful points of view, learn a little about plants and birds we see and enjoy the fresh air in the impressive nature.

                You can apply for membership which costs €15,00 per year + entry fee €20.00.  If so, bring 2 photos and a photocopy of your passport on your next walk. Non members pay €20,00 per walk.

                OBS.  The Group reserves itself the right to make changes in the program and is not responsible for participants who are not fit and properly equipped.  Reservation obligatory.

You will then come directly to the album with its various files from the latest walks and excursions.  Add the link to your favourites to make it easier to find them in the future.

From the files you can download the photos you are interested in; you can print them or add them to your private images.  Picasa is a very handy program for this purpose.

If you have photos you would like to share with the rest of us, you may e-mail them to grupomogan@gmail.com .  They will then be evaluated and added to the corresponding files.  Please do only send photos that are of interest for a majority of the members and not more than 5 – 10 photos at a time.  We will probably receive more than one photo of the same motive.  In that case only the best will be added to the album.

When you send us your photos, we take it for granted that you are ready to share your photos with everyone who has access to the album through our homepage.  The files will be kept in the album for a maximum of 3 -4 months, where after they will be deleted. We hope that you will take pleasure in this service.
